Our rotary valves have been designed for a wide range of applications and have been used successfully for many years. This applies both to our standard range in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and to ATEX-compliant rotary valves in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU as a device or autonomous protection system.
We will be happy to implement customer-specific solutions with adapted inlets and outlets, modified installation heights, modified rotary valves for special conveying media, rotary valves with special seals or purge and seal gas connections for you within the scope of our adaptation and modification design - STEP files for your system planning included.
Real super talents in conveying technology
Rotary valves are your heroes when it comes to volumetric dosing or discharge of materials of any kind from hoppers, silos, filter systems or cyclones. Neue Jäger has the right rotary valve concept for every application, whether for conveying powdery, fine-grained or coarse products. With us, you ensure that your bulk materials are continuously fed to mixing and processing operations. You will also be impressed by the robust and compact design of our rotary valves, which have a low space requirement.
Which rotary valve suits my applications?
In order to find the right rotary valve for your own application, the type of conveying system is of course important first. But the following factors must also be taken into account when making a selection:
- The type of material or the properties of the conveyed media
- Moisture and temperature of the bulk material
- Discharge, feed, filter or dosing sluice?
- Required volume throughput
- Estimated operating time per day
- Are safety certifications (e.g. ATEX) necessary?
Good to know: The filling level of the rotor pockets depends on the flowability of the bulk material to be conveyed and the rotation speed of the cellular wheels. The lower the flowability of the conveyed media, the lower the rotation speed must be in order to achieve an optimum filling level. The abrasiveness of the material also plays a role. In the case of highly abrasive bulk material, a rotary valve with large volumes and low rotational speeds is recommended, as the following always applies: low rotational speeds mean lower wear.
