ROTORS

Rotary air locks are used for various tasks in the bulk industry. Furthermore, there is an almost endless number of different bulk materials and conveyed media with characteristics that diversify according to their condition.

In order for our rotors to work reliably and economically at any time, we have developed a large number of different rotors designed in accordance with the specific task and consistence of the medium.

Rotor type 1 standard version

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • Design with trunnion and bush
  • Design with two trunnions for coupling
  • Grinded rotor wheel for low leakage rates

Rotor type 1 standard with elastic sealing lips

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • Sealing lips made of Vulkollan or with FDA-/EHEDG approval
  • All sealing lips adjustable and replaceable
  • For lowest leakage rates

Rotor type 1 standard with wearing strips

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • Wearing strips made of spring steel or stainless steel
  • For higher wear protection and long durability
  • All wearing strips adjustable and replaceable

Rotor type 2 without lateral plates

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • Rotor side open without lateral plates
  • Sealing by flat rotor side discs
  • For bulk material with a high capability of flowing or trickling
  • Suitable for particle sizes below 0.5 mm
  • Prevents reliably rotor blockades

Rotor type 3 with bevelled front and bar plates

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • Front and/or bar plates bevelled
  • For material that tends to clog
  • For particularly adhesive bulk materials

Rotor type 4 with rounded chambers

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • With 8 chambers, 4 of them always closed
  • With rounded chamber panels
  • Enables reliable emptying of cells
  • Also available with polished or coated chambers
  • Version with wearing strips is possible

Rotor type 5 with milled dosing cells

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • Design with up to 20 chambers possible
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • With milled dosing cells
  • Individual design of chamber volume

Rotor type 5 with bevelled dosing cells

  • Material cast iron, steel or stainless steel
  • Design with up to 20 chambers possible
  • Sealing of the rotor side space by lateral plates
  • With milled dosing cells
  • Individual design of chamber volume
  • Bevelled bars allow a homogenous emptying of cells
  • Suitable for adhesive mediums due to cutting movement of the rotor
