ATEX Rotary Valve

ZRS 100 HEAVYDUTY has been designed for ATEX use in zone 21. The cellular wheel sluice has been designed as an autonomous protection system as per ATEX directive 2014/34/EU to operate as an input sluice within a pneumatic conveyor system to supply a mixture of granulated sugar and milk powder. The process technology requirements to the cellular wheel sluice were to firstly guarantee the continuous supply of the available mixture at a specified draining frequency of > 2 Hz from individual compartments and secondly, to use the system as a cellular wheel sluice suitable for food processing. All parts that come into contact with media are made of 1.4301 stainless steel, have been classified as H1, and certified by EHEDG. ZRS 100 HEAVYDUTY has been equipped with an angular gear motor to save space.
