Tangential rotary valves are used for conveying and metering coarse-grained bulk materials and granulates. Due to the staggered inlet, which is tangential to the rotary valve, the conveying medium is forced back by a scraper. This prevents the conveying medium from jamming between the cellular wheel and the housing, thus ensuring gentle conveying of the bulk material.
