The aluminium version of the ZRS 70 XS is used for sampling at a steel plant. The rotary air lock is located in an auxiliary flow of a main flow that runs vertically. To analyse the composition of the conveyed medium – metal oxides in this case – material is taken from the auxiliary flow by the ZRS 70 XS installed there. The rotary air lock and the chamber size were matched to the conveyed volumes to be sampled and modified in terms of geometry in this case.
